RF Applications and Support Engineer

Location:

  • Portland metropolitan area/Greater Portland, OR

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot radio frequency (RF)-related issues in the field
  • Support and maintain installed base at customer site(s)
  • Assist customers in developing new applications
  • Interact with OEM and IDM engineering staff concurrently

Required:

  • Knowledge of RF and experience with RF measurement and analysis tools
  • Preference will be given to those with 2-5 years of direct experience maintaining and/or troubleshooting RF-related equipment/devices
  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in electronics or equivalent military experience and 5 years of hands-on RF troubleshooting experience|
  • Highly preferred: B.S. in electrical engineering with experience as an applications or process engineer in design, development or troubleshooting RF applications or RF system components

Desirable:

  • Experience in a semiconductor fabrication plant with plasma or related processes that employ RF equipment
